Bangkok Trip June 2013 : DAY 1

Hey guysss! How are youuuuu? Apa khabarrrrrr? Neehawwwww??? :D Ok so I'm obviously in a good mood today. Hehe. More towards a little crazy perhaps. :P Anywaysss... Just wanna write a little something on my last trip to Bangkok. Which was urmm... 1 month ago. Yeah... yeah it's almost a rotten story...but I still wanna write bout it! Haha. So here goes... ;)

As usual, below is my most favorite hotel in Bangkok at Patpong. You guys can click here for my previous post on the hotel ----> Take A Nap Hotel Bangkok

Below are the pictures of the rooms taken by us for this trip...

We really love the hotel. It's very clean and comfy and most important for Muslims, the breakfast is Halal. To bargain hunters, it's also just a few metres away from one of the most liveliest night market in Bangkok, Patpong Night Market. So go ahead and book yours too! :)

Day 1: Exploring Madamme Tussauds Bangkok - 11:00am

My trip this time was a really short one. 3D2N only. So we had to really make full use of the time we got. The first thing we did right after we checked in our room was to explore Madamme Tussaud's Bangkok. Guysss...PLEASE BUY YOUR MADAMME TUSSAUD'S TICKETS ONLINE. You will get 50% discount from walk in price for the tickets. Normal walk in price is 800Baht. So you'll get it for 400Baht online! Just click here for their website ---> Madamme Tussauds Bangkok

Now let's enjoy some pics! (perhaps you won't since they are all of me haha!)...
I'm short! :P

With Tata Young at MTV Awards After Party. :P
Oprah was friendly. :D
Camwhoring wit Willy! Hehe
More camwhoring! With Jules. Haha.
I don't know who she is be she looks real!

Day 1 : Lunch at Mak Yah Restaurant - 1:00pm

So after our trip to Madamme Tussaud's we decided to have lunch first before going to Platinum Mall. We went to Mak Yah's. One of the few Halal Thai restaurants in Bangkok. Mak Yah is really close to Platinum Mall so you can also eat here if you're nearby. You can read my previous entry on some of the Halal food in Bangkok here ---> Halal Food in Bangkok

At Mak Yah's. Place is air-conditioned and cozy. Owner is very friendly. Price reasonable.

The very very delicious Green Curry Chicken. Creamy and tangy. Yumyyyy!

Tom yam was also great. Just enough sourness and spiciness. Yeah! :)

Day 1 : Platinum Mall  & My favorite Swensen's Ice Cream! - 2:30pm

So after filling our tummy with lots of tom yam and green curry, we head straight to Platinum Mall for some retail therapy. Please read my past entries on shopping here ---> Top 8 Things To Do in Bangkok
So as usual after the few hours of shopping we had to rest our feet and where else better that Swensen's just at the entrance of Platinum Mall! :D The best and value for money ice cream in Bangkok!

The Bangkok team...

Caramel Nutty something something. Seriously good and yummy! only 120Baht.

Yummy too!! Also 120baht only. :)

Day 1 : Dinner at Deen Muslim Restaurant - 8:00pm

So after Platinum Mall, we head back to our hotel and had some rest. After our needed rest, we went for dinner just nearby our hotel. 3 minutes by taxi maybe. Of all the Halal restaurants we went in Bangkok this is the cheapest and food still tasted good! Please read my previous entry on Halal Food in Bangkok to know more on the restaurant.

I seriously love the stuffed omelet. Really tasty!

Nothing can go wrong when you order tom yam in Thailand I guess. :)

The Chicken Cashewnut was not my favorite but my friend loved it.

My friend's Beef with Flat Noodles was really delish!

The Bangkok team again. Once you're full then you can start camwhoring. Hehehe.

Day 1 : Khaosan Road - 10:00pm

So right after dinner we took the cab straight to Khaosan Road which cost us only 100Baht. This is my 2nd time to Khaosan Road and I would like to just shout again that I LOVE KHAOSAN ROAD! For all you exciting people who love having fun and people watching and bar hopping and night market shopping and street food hunting, this is the place to go! Seriously people...please go. :)

Just look at the horde of tourists at this Bar! They really were having fun! :)
Khaosan road night market.

Well....that's was all for Day 1 of my 7th trip to Bangkok. See you again in my next entry for the rest of the days for this trip to Bangkok! :D Take care all!  Love ya.
